13 July 2013 - 15 July 2013

Imma back with my new travel post! Pulau Langkawi!

It was Penang Governor's birthday.
We had one off day, one rest day and one replacement holiday.
Plus, it was fasting month, everywhere was less tourists, less crowding and more laid back. Our choice for the off season holiday stay was Mila 2, a budgeted motel which located in a peaceful Malay village. It is also only a 2-minutes drive from Pantai Cenang.

This is the view from my room's window, we saw a sea of coconut trees and green field.

3D2N cost RM140 only!

After dropping our luggage, we headed to a typical tourism-must-go restaurant, Artisans Pizza for lunch.

Carrot fruit juice always is my love.

 Masala Seafood
It was very rich with seafood topping and the taste of local spices was super strong...slurp~

 Cajun Cheeseburger
Chicken patty doused with the cajun spice blend.

Finally this is somewhere free government and service tax!

After lunch, we headed to Oriental Village, where we took the cable car then continued onto duck ride and waterfall.

The magnificent blue view of Langkawi

Too bad the sky bridge was closing for maintenance.

This duck is both a bus and a boat.

Duck signboard!

First night the restaurant we wanted to go had a super long queue so we dine at a random restaurant in Pantai Cenang.

What I didn't expect was the live flute in this restaurant.
Initially, I thought the guy was simply playing because the music he played is some sort of music like the snake charmers play, no rhythm. But no, he then continued to play pop song "My Heart Will Go On" like a professional performer.

There are a lot of stalls along Pantai Cenang and the most caught my eyes was the stall decorated with colorful coconut so I decided to give it a try.

Light refreshment - a cup of coconut milk ice blended

I met this cute cat in a random boutique shop.

The best chill night out in Langkawi is Babylon!

My second day morning well spent with island hopping and eagle watching boat trip.
Kinda enjoy the drizzling day and the high speed boat.

 Super big kid!!
Digging hole to find the crab.

There is no crab but this creature.

Nice to meet you and hope to see you there again.
Bye~ bye~

This mountain looks like a sleeping pregnant princess.

Had second day brunch at Breakfast Bar! Apparently, they only serve breakfast and it was closed at around 12pm. We were their last customers of the day :D

Very home feel coffee~
Strong aroma!

Grabbed a hot noodle soup after a cold and wet boat trip was the best!

After that, we decided had a walk then found this boutique shop called Nuan which is opposite of Breakfast Bar.

Used jeans as wall decor.
I love this creative idea!

Meow meow and a reuse broken mirror in the dressing room.

A small reading corner?

Can find a lot of creative, reuse and repurpose idea in this shop!
This shop makes me wanna shop longer!

The second half day, we went to Underwater World, rice museum and beach walking.

Cody and Big Z!

This dress was bought at a random boutique shop at Pantai Cenang.

Say cheese to Shark family =目

Haagan-Darz green tea ice cream as afternoon dessert

Rice museum's paddy field

Next, we had buffet as dinner at a random hotel.

Love the grilled sambal fish!

I love the most in this buffet was Rainbow-colored ice Kacang.
It was sweet, relaxed, and summery!

On the last day, we had breakfast at Breakfast Station which it is opposite Artisans pizza. This is a cozy place for breakfast if you enjoy great atmosphere with light food.

Suria Pagi Breskfast RM16.90
2 pieces of toast with jam & butter, scramble egg, 2 cheese sausages, mushroom, sauté vegetables and baked bean with a cup of Lavazza normal coffee.

My smoked salmon and scramble egg wrap. RM12.90

Last station was Eagle Square.
The must go landmark in Langkawi!

The end.
