22 Feb 2011

I know there isn't much update lately. I'm pretty busy with work and I realized work eats up a huge part of my life, hence I didn’t have the time to update my blog. I also don't feel like to head out when I were too tired after work. Mostly I were staying home, playing piano and surfing the internet. There will be years to come, can't imagine that I have to continue with this kind of life until retire.

As you know I went to Taiwan on February so here’s the pictures for my sixth day at Taiwan!

Say goodbye to Jiao Xi Ming Shu(礁溪民宿)

Jiu Fen Old Street the most popular local market for shopping. There are many shops along the street. I found that everything they sell is so cute. Don't know how to buy!! There's too many of them.

The Ocarina shops are simply splendid with its varying size, shape, and color so find the design of your desires while you can. I spent most of my time at here.

Found a irresistibly adorable doggy dress in Bumble Bee look.
There were soooooooooo many cute doggies every freaking where.

One of the must eat food in Jiu Fen is no other than the Yam Balls!!
~Yum yum~

The famous chewy yam balls which served hot.

Fishball noodle is another must eat food in Jiufen.
At first, fishball noodle was not what attracted me to visit this stall but their walls which fully plastered with pictures of the lady boss taken with many famous Chineses celebrities.

My fishball noodle put in rabbit paper cup.

I found that the Taiwan chili sauce tends to be salty.

Bought some souvenirs back to Malaysia.

Then, we visited the gold mining town, Jinguashi.

My weight worth this much of gold.

Gold waterfall(金瓜石黃金瀑布)

Yeliu Geopark.

Visited the Money God temple.

Before we retired to our hotel(金山樸真民宿), we were given some time to have dinner and shopping at Jin Shan(金山).

Pink red color is cactus, cotta color is sweet potato and I forget what is the flavor for white color.
The ice cream tasted super strange and weird. Seriously, the worse ice cream I've ever had so far in
my life.

That's how my sixth day at Taiwan flew by.......
