Second day in Taiwan.
Overall should be quite fun but there's serious accident made my mood so down!!
Checked-out the homestay(民宿), headed down to Mazu Temple.

天长地久桥 just in front of Hidden Dragon Temple.

Continued our journey up to Fen Chi Hu while we were on our way up to Alishan.
They sell many kinds of candies and local specialities.
The famous EKIBEN (铁路便当) in Fen Chi Hu as lunch.
It made from local food specialities.
We had wasabi cold plate tofu over here too. It taste not nice.

Many restaurants in Taiwan allow cat and dog owners bring their pets inside.

I realized all doggies in Taiwan are very cuddly and cute!!

So weird! I can't imagine how the taste is like. I didn't dare to try it.
Checked into DaFeng Hotel at Alishan.
They don't have room number but name-Peony (牡丹)
I like the room. Comfortable!!
The view and everything were so pretty!
This hotel is on high hill. Plus, it was late winter, so it was very cold.
The hotel provides body/hair shampoo,toothbrush/paste, towel, hair dryer, and slippers.
After checking into rooms and we walked to take the famous sightseeing train at Forest Railway Alishan Station. This train took us to the place where the thousand years legendary giant trees(神木) stay.

After taking group picture, 9 person split into 2 groups. 4 person took the train back due to tireness and the rest continued their journey hiking in Alishan.
This grand old tree(神木) was formerly one of the Alishan largest tree. Now, it is forever sleeping down there due to lightning strike.
It was dinner time after hiking.
Overall the dinner was very nice!! Ho-chiak!
My second day in Taiwan ended with broken heart due to my baby Canon ixus's lens broke down at hotel room in afternoon when I were about to leave hotel and rush to take train.This is the second time I hurt my baby!! I feel so so so sorry to my baby! I got no money to repair you! I'm very sorry that I have to give up you! You just dunno how much I love you! Hence, my second night was a sleepless night!!
