21 Feb 2011

It's time to share my fifth day in Taiwan! Did you know that Taiwan has so many breathtaking sights especially is its seaside. I bet you will love these places if you loved serene blue sky and ocean. Let me start you on this journey.

Breakfast time!
Breads, sweet potato congee and milk as breakfast.
So simple but healthy.

The landlady of this homestay.
She's a strong lady. She shared her story about how her husband betrayed her, divorce, she had a very tough time in life after divorcing with her husband because she had no any working experience and she had to start all over. Plus, her husband don't even pay a dime for children support and alimony so she had been worked like a cow, no day no night. With her sister's financial assistance, she decided to start a business of homestay. There is always a way out, she turned her effort and spirit into profits.

Cloudy day I love max!

Chihsing Tan Katsuo Museum

So beautiful!!

Many celebrities had come this place.

Electronic aquarium.
You can feed the fish by clicking the mouse.Quite fun!

Seriously, beach of Chihsing Tan (七星潭海提) is the most beautiful beach that I've ever seen.

Mama was so excited and enjoyed walking along the beach picking up stones.
I have a cute mama isn't?! Liked a big big child!!!

I feel this is the best place for stone collection.
I didn't see any sand on this beach but stones.

People were discouraged from going near to the seawater because of the high strong waves. I got a shock when I realized the waves reached my shoes while I were taking photo. I stood quite far away from the seawater. I've never seen such strong waves! I can't take off my shoes and let the seawater splashing like what I've used to do at Penang beach.

I fall in love with Chihsing Tan (七星潭海提)!
I really miss this place so so much!

Dropped by a famous pastry shop that sells all kinds of Taiwan local specialties.

Chingshui Cliff a very scenic place and is the highest coastal cliff in Taiwan.

This place is famous for its crystal clear blue seawater.

Next stop, we went to Nanfang-ao Port (南方澳渔港).

Yum yum!! I miss this a lot.

I love to eat sweet potato.
Malaysia should has a stall like this so I can always go to buy and eat!!

Taiwan cab.

Yilan's weather was very cold compare to Chihsing Tan so I wore back my jacket.

National Center for Traditional Arts.
This place bored me to death.

I bought this ring at here.

Coins of our ancient.

I found that almost every shop window has rabbit display.

One of the rabbits is hugging pink carrot. So cute!

Little rabbits made from paper.

Giant rabbit lantern.

Jess was on the stage.

Time for dinner.

Must eat the famous stew pork minced rice in Taiwan, okay!

Strolling around the streets at Yilan after dinner.

Police motorcycles in Taiwan.

The original bubble tea in Taiwan is way better than the bubble tea in Malaysia.

Fire station in Taiwan.

The fifth night, we stayed at Jiao Xi Chen Gong Wen Quan Homestay (礁溪成功温泉民宿).

OOOoooouch~ the water too hot!!!

I put my feet down when the water turned warm.

Blueberry jelly ending given to a perfect day.

I have to thank god that I safety reached Malaysia. Because it was earthquake a week before I coming to Yilan. Earthquake is a super horrible worse disaster ever. Before I leaving Malaysia to Taiwan, I had worried so much until I sent last goodbye message to all my lovelies and told them how much I love them. I feel quite stupid by doing this. However, life only live once, do something leave no regret before it is too late. People gone, and they don't say why and sometimes they never say goodbye. Sometimes, there are no second chances to say I love you, sometimes there are no next times and this is life! We don't know what will happen to us tomorrow, today, next hour, or even next second! Natural disaster is unpredictable just like what was happened in Japan on last Friday. I hope Japan recovers faster and be better than last time!!
