4 Jan 2011

Sorry I’ve been such an idler and have neglected this blog. It has been a week plus since my return from Singapore. I know you guys have been waiting me update my blog till neck long!!
Here's the update and hope you will enjoy reading it.

This trip associates with lotsa first time. It was my very first time oversea trip (if didn't count in the Thailand trips with my family when I were still sharing mama's passport). It was my first time oversea trip without my family. It was my first time backpacking oversea trip. It was also my first time backpacking oversea trip with him. And of course, It was my first time visiting to Singapore.

Transportation system in Singapore is very convenient as SMRT, bus and cab are found everywhere.

The first stop to visit of the day was Merlion Park.
A must go city sightseeing place in Singapore.

After taking SMRT, we found a good place and sat down to read the map of Singapore.

I dunno how to read map so I started to look around, camwhore and also be in a trance.

Behind me was the spectacular Marina Bay Sands Singapore Skypark which is sitting on top of the three hotel towers. We had no time to go there, what a miss!!

This is the result of eating too much.
I can't jump!!!!

I fall in love with this country.

Next stop, we were walking to Singapore Flyer from Marina Bay.

Oh yeah, very surprisingly nobody share the capsule with us. We enjoyed two person world to max while capturing the awesome sunset and night view of Singapore.
When is the best time to take a ride of Singapore flyer? My greatest suggestions for you are:
1st-taking the ride on weekday so you no need to wait for such a long queue when buying ticket and possibly no strangers share the ride together with you (try your luck);
2nd-taking the ride at around 7pm enable you to catch both sunset and night scenery of Singapore.

We went to Chinatown for dinner by SMRT.

The speed of escalator is super fast because Singapore is a fast-paced country??
It made me felt so pressure, especially is to walk in front of Singaporean, they walk very fast!!!

Singapore's Chinatown is kinda same with Petaling Street (Chinatown).

That's all for my first day in Singapore.
I were so tired after walking all day long. My heels had wounded and pained like hell but I kinda enjoy this trip. There's more to come. Stay tuned!!
